This shield features next level materials to make a next generation product. The Stealth Floor shield is the next step in traditional floor heat shields for race cars. Weighing half as much as traditional product and only 1/4-inch thick you can stay cool while staying fast. While it has been engineered for the most extreme racing applications, it works as a real solution in traditional hot rods or street cars as well. At the core of Stealth Floor Shield is a specially formulated insulation called Stealth Felt that blocks up to 70% of direct contact heat and is also fire-resistant. Featuring our optional patented MagnaMount technology to hold the shield in place or it is also available with traditional grommets for mounting. Lighter and better performance than traditional silver floor mats. In racing applications, Stealth Floor Shield has additional value. Between having a hot foot from a griddle-like toe panel and transmission hump it can get hot inside a racecar. That makes it hard to focus on the details of racing and contributes to fatigue. Stealth Floor Shield reduces this strain on the driver. In a street or off-road application, Stealth Floor Shield will keep drivers and passengers cooler without unnecessary vehicle weight or bulk that will affect carpet installation. Air conditioning will be able to perform better and, simply stated, everyone will be able to keep their cool more easily even on those hot summer days.
